General Information
The information in this Guide was originally compiled from a variety of
sources, primarily Cyberskunk's excellent HyperCard map of FurryMUCK (available
by ftp; look at the FTP Board in the North Corner of the Park for details).
1) From left to right, the columns indicate the category(ies) the area
has been placed in, its name, a very brief description, directions
from West Corner of the Park, and the area's owner.
2) The directions given are either the shortest or the simplest, not the only
possible routes. In particular, you'll need to fly (@set me=_flight?:yes)
to follow many of them. Nearly all the areas can be reached by foot too,
and once you get a home you can always reach it without flying.
3) Areas marked [*] can be moved into without the help of their owners.
For all the others, page or page #mail the owner for help.
4) '5n' means to go north five times.
5) '' means that the area is fairly extensive. Once you've followed
the directions, wander around to see the whole region.
6) Any comments, additions, or corrections should be sent to me (Snowshadow).
What the Category Letters Mean
There are over 50 residential and business areas on this list. They have
been sorted into eleven general categories; each area can be in up to two
categories. Of course, these classifications provide only a very rough
idea of what an entire area is like.
A: Apartment buildings. Some are small, some much larger.
C: Caves, caverns, dens, burrows
F: Forests, woods, mountains, plains, and general outdoor areas
H: Houses, office parks, lodges, castles, and other small communities
P: Space stations, other planets, spaceships
R: Roads, streets, lanes, alleys
S: Specialty: caters to one species or gender, or anime, undead, etc.
T: Trees and treetops
U: Unusual: well outside the normal range of choices
W: Water: rivers, streams, lakes, seas, and their banks and beds
Y: in the skY, so you should probably be able to fly to build there
